Location
The Sariska Tiger Reserve is a national park located in the Alwar district of the state of Rajasthan in India. In the year 1955 it was declared as a wildlife reserve and in 1978 it was given the status of a tiger reserve under the Project Tiger Scheme. Sprawling across the area of 866 km² some part of it is in the Aravalli Ranges which is rich in mineral resources.
